Sun Blade 6048 delivers performance in Intel® Xeon, UltraSPARC and AMD® Opteron architectures and is designed to scale from a small departmental cluster up to a petascale environment. With up to 48 Sun Blade server modules, eight Network Express modules, up to 96 Express Modules, and multiple redundant power supplies and fans, the Sun Blade 6048 Chassis delivers the upmost in flexible modularity. The Sun 6048 provides 32.7 Tb/s in a full ~42U rack-size chassis and enables consistent management via Chassis Monitoring Modules.
