Refurbished and Used Sun Fire 15K servers combine the SOLARIS Operating Environment with features such As built-in hardware redundancy, up to 106 UltraSPARC III Cu processors, a maximum memory capacity of 576 GB and 250 TB of direct connect storage. Delivering amazing performance with up to 172.8 GB/sec aggregate bandwidth via the redundant Sun Fireplane Interconnect, the Sun Fire 15K server also contains the extremely malleable resource management provided by the Dynamic Reconfiguration, online upgrade and hot CPU upgrades. The Sun 15K also offers redundant system controllers with automatic failover that causes no interruption to users.
