With support for up to 14 blades in only 7U of rack space, the IBM 8677 chassis delivers a superior space-to-performance ratio. The BladeCenter E supports a sharable CD/DVD drive, four hot-swap redundant blowers, four hot-swap redundant power supplies with load-balancing and failover capabilities. The IBM 8677 also offers 1 management module standard for simplified blade management and Light Path diagnostics to easily determine status at a glance.
