Supporting up to 16 dual core PA-8900 processors, 256GB of memory, and up to 32 PCI-X expansion slots via the optional Server Expansion Unit, the HP rp8420 delivers high-end performance and flexibility. The rp8420 offers excellent high availability features such as 2N power inputs, redundant cooling and power supplies, memory chip spare, and dynamic processor resilience and deallocation (on failure).
