The IBM System P5 595 offers a battery backup option and is available with 4 Gb Fibre Channel, 10 Gb Ethernet, and 12x GX adaptors for additional connectivity. The P5 590 delivers 28.1 TB of storage and 240 PCI-X hot-swap expansion slots through eight optional I/O drawers.
