The IBM System P5 590 offers a battery backup and is available with 4 Gb Fibre Channel, 10 Gb Ethernet, and 12x GX adaptors for additional connectivity. The P5 590 can provide 18.7 TB of storage and 160 PCI-X hot-swap expansion slots through eight optional I/O drawers.
