With up to sixteen 2.2 GHz 64-bit POWER5+ processor cores, 256 GB of DDR2 memory, and 600 GB of hot-swap internal storage per node, the 9118-575 provides excellent performance and reliable storage. The IBM System P5 575 offers four hot-plug PCI-X expansion slots for flexibility and is available with 2 Gb Fibre Channel, 10 Gb Ethernet, and 4x InfiniBand® adaptors for additional connectivity. An additional 2.3 TB of storage and 20 PCI-X expansion slots can be added through optional I/O drawer.
