Canvas Systems demonstrated its ongoing commitment to quality by becoming one of the first companies in the refurbished IT equipment industry to achieve International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification.
In a fast-paced, global environment, standards matter. They help ensure quality, environmental friendliness, safety, reliability, efficiency and interchangeability - and at an economical cost. The process of achieving certification is long and challenging, and many companies choose not to pursue it. But at Canvas Systems, we recognize that doing so serves both our customers and our suppliers.
In February, 2009, we completed the rigorous process and earned the following certificates:
ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized quality management standard for ensuring the highest possible quality in business-to-business dealings. Canvas Systems' quality policy is to achieve sustained, profitable growth by providing continually improving services which consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of its customers while improving the internal QMS.
ISO 14001:2004 certification recognizes a company’s control of environmental impact issues. A certified company has an Environmental Management System in place that provides a systematic approach to minimize the company’s impact on the environment and surrounding community. It also requires organizations to identify all environmental impacts and associated risks, and then implement actions that take a proactive approach to minimize impact, with an emphasis on continual improvement. Our Environmental Policy
Canvas Systems is committed to regulatory compliance with applicable Federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations and other requirements to which we subscribe. In addition, Canvas is committed to preventing pollution by examples such as but not limited to recycling, waste reduction and conserving natural resources. Canvas shall maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) and commit to continual improvement of it.

Canvas Systems holds certificate No: FM 540239 and operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the following scope:
- Sales, assembly, refurbishing and testing of IT components and equipment in three separate facilities in Norcross, GA.
- Additionally, services provided include asset management/disposition, data center moves and forensic data destruction.
